What the Journal Explores
The journal is where new pieces of Forlazia will first emerge—from a forgotten shrine or border settlement to a divine rivalry, cultural tradition, or recovered account of the old world.
Settlements, ruins, roads, wilderness regions, sacred sites, and locations altered by the Veil.
Clans, kingdoms, orders, communities, professions, customs, and the individuals who carry them forward.
Veilborn gods, forgotten names, cults, rituals, festivals, heresies, and competing accounts of creation.
Magic traditions, Soul Essence, Veil phenomena, relics, fractures, and discoveries that challenge accepted truth.
Beasts, spirits, corrupted beings, ancient survivors, and entities that have crossed from somewhere beyond the Veil.
Short fiction, recovered journals, legends, songs, letters, and eyewitness accounts from across the world.
First Chronicle
For a century and a half, the people of Forlazia learned to live beneath the Veil. It shaped prayer and death, magic and omen, but remained distant enough to become ordinary.
That certainty is ending. Shards fall where no star crossed the sky. Forgotten temples answer names that have not been spoken in generations. Quiet fractures open like doors seen only from the corner of the eye.
The world has entered the Age of the Veilwake, and its history is once again being written.
